Classic at first glance, but look a little closer and the Holthinrichs Delft Blue becomes something else entirely.

There’s something wonderfully old-world about the shape and proportions. It could almost have stepped out of the 1940s, in my eyes anyway. But then you notice the case, the grade 5 titanium, the construction, the tiny details and the way modern technology has been used to make shapes that traditional manufacturing simply couldn’t.

Holthinrichs is a great example of how traditional watchmaking and modern technology don’t have to be opposites. 3D printing has opened up possibilities that allow imagination to run a little wilder, while the watch is still firmly rooted in craftsmanship and Dutch design.

And that blue against that porcelain… 🧑‍🍳 💋 💙

A dress watch for the modern age, made by people who clearly aren’t afraid to do things differently. What do you think?

Story Time. Meet Fiona, the newest member of the watch family. ❤️

She came all the way to Geneva with her family, including her other watch-obsessed brothers, to be there for Geneva Watch Days.

I was just catching up with Ines and Stephane aka when Fiona came over wearing a Dennison ALD Mini Tiger Eye on her wrist. She wanted some advice about that one and the Opal, and truly, I felt like my whole life up to this point had led to this moment. 😂

It was a no-brainer. With those gorgeous eyes, the Opal was the only choice.

Fiona has been saving her own money for a very long time and decided that it was finally time to invest in something special. And the fact that she came to DENNISON in the first place already tells me she has excellent taste.

It was such a special moment to spend time with her and her family, and to be even a tiny part of what I’m sure will become an absolute core memory for her.

In the end after trying on different variations, Fiona chose the Opal with the gold bracelet for fancy occasions, and the double-wrap green leather strap for a more whimsical, casual look.

I kept hearing her say over and over how happy she was. Honestly, it was like watching her walk on a cloud. 🥹

Fiona, I hope you enjoy your stunning new watch for many, many years to come. And I really hope our paths cross again someday.

New release alert 🚨 and something I’ve been enjoying in secret for a smidge.

Looook 👀 it’s the OLTO-8 Watches Chrono Gate Burgundy Moissanite -Set- Eastern Arabic Numerals.

Yes, I know it’s a mouthful. But it’s also a bloody gorgeous watch, if a complete nightmare to photograph thanks to that stunning and very unusual domed crystal.

It also has this brilliantly bonkers 24-hour display that mechanically jumps every twelve hours, switching from 12 to 0 and back again. Such a clever little detail.

What are your first impressions?

I’ll be taking a much closer look at it for Vincent Deschamps, but in the meantime, enjoy me jaunting through the streets of Turin in a matching casual ensemble. Because it’s the thing to do in Turin apparently. 😂

Nothing to see here… just the beautiful .b modelling her latest creation, the Nouvelle. 😍

This was actually a completely impromptu little photoshoot. We were catching up on life, chatting away, and everything just looked so perfect that I had to stop her and take some photos!

The Nouvelle is the second chapter of the BUCI Watches story and launches on Kickstarter very soon eek.

I was lucky enough to spend a lot of time with her first watch, so I was really curious to see where she’d take things next. And I have to say, this one feels more mature and refined. The typography is absolutely charming, and there are so many lovely little details. For the price, I think it’s a really special piece.

It’s always wonderful to see women doing well and creating something of their own. But when that woman is a friend, it makes it all the sweeter. 🥰

So happy to see this next chapter for Nousseima and Buci. 🤍
