Graduate of an Art School in Georgia, Lado continued his training in the best art and jewellry workshops of Moscow and Saint Petersburg, Russia, renowned for its world famous Masters and jewellry. Before Lado and his family moved to Australia in 2003, he spent several months travelling in Europe to study and learn more about European jewellry and techniques. In 2011, Lado travelled back to Europe to learn more about contemporary wooden jewellry and glass enamel methods. It is his passion for design excellence that sees Lado pursue such opportunities to hone his skills in innovative jewellry techniques and design sophistication. Last week, we had a record number of customers asking us to replace a single lost earring or looking for a new pair after losing one of their favourites.

It’s a reminder to regularly check your earring backs if you wear studs. Silicone stoppers can help prevent hook style earrings from slipping out.

My personal favourite peace-of-mind solution is LOX lockable earring backs.

Made in England, they are suitable for most stud, post and hook-style earrings. They lock securely in place and won’t move until you release the locking mechanism.

This beautiful anniversary ring came to life from our lovely client’s vision. She dreamed of a large, pale pink morganite in a marquise shape, set in warm rose gold — a timeless combination of elegance and romance.

With morganite, a standard marquise cut can often create a bright centre with darker edges, compromising the soft, even glow we wanted to achieve for this special piece.

A big thank you to Jamie , who sourced and transformed an exceptional piece of rough into the perfect gemstone for this design. His signature cut brought the stone to life.
