Colombian Muzo Emerald…there are 3 main location sources of emeralds in Colombia and one of them is Muzo, more sought after and commands a higher price for this source.

Muzo emeralds are Distinguished for its Bluish green hue. “Le Jardin” or also know. As the garden- referring to Emeralds unique 2 phase and 3 phase inclusions which you see from the top naked eye as garden like weaves. Which are actually gas, liquid and crystal inclusions inside the emerald, distinguish it specifically of Colombian origin!

These inclusions can be seen at under 60x magnification plus in the microscope by a trained eye! One of my favourite things to see actually as a gemologist and I always get excited and jump up, nearly out of my seat!

Haha anyways! Here’s to lucky May babies - you get the Emerald as your birthstone! Ps. This ring is set with Australian pink diamonds and colourless diamonds! Perfect combination!

So I didn’t want to work a standard job, 9-5 or even a hospitality job.

Now I work around the clock, always answering msgs and emails! And the thing is, I love it because it’s my passion.

Isn’t it funny, how we perceive “work” when we do what we love and are so passionate about it. It requires discipline, devotion over the years and many sacrifices which not many people see, oh boy but it’s worth it.

I can’t believe this picture has been taken 5 years ago now.
When time stood still for a moment and the jewellery industry still worked, harder than ever.

Jewellers never stopped, this was my most creative time as I finally had space and time to concentrate on my craft (don’t get me wrong) it was just no noise, I didn’t need to leave the house. (This too came with an expense as I worked from morning till midnight).

Jewellery was continuing to be created during these times because beautiful people still love to adorn themselves. We people love to celebrate special moments and memories, jewellery is sentimental, valuable pieces which are treasured forever.

As a custom jewellery designer, I love telling your stories through art objects for you to keep forever and pass down family generations as heirlooms. 🌹❤️
