NEW💥
My Grandmother's Teeth Ring 💀
The centerpiece of the Inherited Remains series. Sand cast from reclaimed silver with rough diamonds cast in place, My Grandmother's Teeth began with an offhand remark made during a conversation about recycling inherited jewellery. Someone joked about "wearing my grandmother's teeth" - melting down old family gold felt strangely intimate and at the same time slightly unsettling😬
The ring takes that image literally. Its open form resembles a dental impression tray while simultaneously echoing the horseshoe, a symbol of good fortune. Two sketchy skulls on its ends are holding a salt-and-pepper rough diamond, while tiny white diamonds glimmer from their eye sockets, balancing memento mori with dark humour. Finished with black ruthenium plate.
