Sometimes crystals will just speak to you. If you know, you know.
For me, it was Rose Quartz that started it all. I still remember the magical little crystal shop in Berchtesgaden along Lake Konigsee in Germany.
My sister and I took a ride on a wooden ferry and then hiked in the national park, surrounded by gold and orange autumn leaves. It was so pretty (swipe to see a few photos from this day).
On our way home we spotted a display of crystals in wooden trays outside a shop. They were like little colourful lollies and so I entered my first ever crystal store.
If you're a crystal lover like me, you'll know the joy of rummaging through raw stones. And on that day a gorgeous pink Rose Quartz spoke to me, so I brought it home.
Not long after, I started training as a metalsmith and learnt how to make jewellery. When I designed the classic gemstone ring, Rose Quartz was the first crystal I chose.
I still get excited when I spot a crystal store and whenever I'm making these rings I always remember where it all began ✨
