Got to try the new limited edition Master Ultra Thin with copper dial at the Sydney boutique. The dial is definitely the selling point and personally I like the updated power reserve.

Quick recap of the event in Sydney to celebrate 30 years of Roger Dubuis. Sydney members of the got the chance to polish a Tourbillon cage and also experience the difficulty in screwing very small components. There’s also a VR component which was exciting!

Meet the Streamliner Tourbillon Pierre Gasly, created in close collaboration with the F1 maverick himself. Working closely with our watchmakers, he shaped every detail, from selecting the movement to picking (and naming) the deep Chocolate fumé dial. Housed in a 5N red gold Streamliner case and limited to 100 pieces, it features a one-minute flying tourbillon chosen by Pierre, powered by the automatic HMC 805 calibre with an in-house double hairspring.

Keeping the main collection small. My main watch is still the 1815 up/down and my daily wear is the LUC forest green.

I still want another dressier watch to have a trinity and to keep the idea of “one on the wrist and two in the roll”. With that said, still happy to consider a sportier timepiece to swap as the daily wear.
