A celebration in blues and greens 💙💚

Throughout the process of creating this ring my beautiful client shared much of her story with me. This ring is a physical celebration of an anniversary of choosing life. It dances across the finger and draws upon materials new and old; A spray of Sapphire and Diamond around a deep and moody teal Tourmaline, that gives way to baguette Tourmalines, fading down the finger. All set in 9ct White Gold. (Shout out to the wonderful for the fabulous setting!)

Each bespoke piece that I created is special and represents the story and history of the client, or a celebration of life and its moments, but this one, this one is a celebration of a promise changed and a life full of future. Thank you, lovely, for trusting me to memorialise this moment for you.

HOT TIP: Marry someone as nerdy as you are 😅

For our upcoming 10 year wedding anniversary and I took a quick trip to Tassie for some fossicking adventures.

A HUGE thanks to Secret River Tours who took us out for another fun day on/in the Weld River searching for Sapphires, Topaz, Zircon, Spinel and a couple of tiny black Tourmalines. We also kicked ricks around on the Ringarooma River and came home with a delicious Smoky Quartz jellybean and some other bits of Quartz and Topaz.

I even snuck in a bit of time while Ben fished to carve a wax ring that will feature one of our fossicked Sapphires once they've been cut.

Total Nerds-Unite holiday 😅 Highly recommended!

A break from regular jewellery news to share my epic Easter Sunday adventure.

This band is the very fabric of my being. A literal soundtrack to my life, so I can stretch this to say I'm sharing a piece of the jeweller behind your jewels 😉😁

I've waited 14 years to see again, and after losing lead singer, Shane MacGowan, I knew it would hit differently, but WOW! What a night! It was every bit as incredible as I'd hoped. That band. Those voices. That energy 🤩 And all within the sails of the .

Just know that when I return to my usual jewellery pics, that this is the music that fills my studio whilst I work 💚🍀
