Erin Timony : Bespoke Fine Jeweller Erin Timony Bespoke Fine Jeweller She also studied at the Gemmological Association of Australia to expand her knowledge of diamonds and precious gems.

Erin began studies at College of Fine Arts (UNSW) in painting but soon discovered jewellery making and the desire to turn her creative eye to more tangible, three dimensional pieces. During her final year of jewellery making at COFA, Erin commenced the Jewellery Trade Manufacture course at Enmore Design centre to further her skills base. Next she completed an apprenticeship under the mentorship of

a master goldsmith/designer, who imparted his traditional gold smithing techniques to her. In 2015 she visited Austria for an intensive hand engraving residency in the Austrian tradition, with a Master Engraver. Erin has found further inspiration in the wealth of natural gemstones available and added their colours to her pallet. One of her favourite parts of her job is finding the perfect stone, to meet the requirements of her customer, be it a diamond or a beautifully coloured gem. Sculpting and hand forging precious metals; gold, platinum and silver, with traditional gold smithing techniques gives her endless satisfaction and pleasure. Collaborating with her clients in a design is a special and rewarding experience. Now days Erin specialises in hand making engagement rings, wedding bands custom designed dress rings and all other tailor made jewellery pieces, in her studio at GAFFA gallery.
