So, let’s talk about anxiety attacks…. Actually let’s not, it tends to make them manifest when I do, not sure if that’s just me or not?

But seriously, sometimes when I’m waiting for transport and there’s too many people, and it’s hot, and we might be underground, and I know I don’t have any kind of aid, then I feel it. In the smallest fraction of time it starts to manifest somewhere inside. That little tingle that says sh*t’s about to go sideways for you and there’s nothing you can do to stop it… or so it seems.
Sometimes the fix can be as simple as breathing into a paper bag, seriously. When I don’t have one handy, I’ll try and put some nice smelling hand cream on and breathe into cupped hands. On a busy train platform someone will sometimes notice, and sometimes you might not feel ok enough to talk.
Well, that happened to me anyway, so it inspired me to make something that might help. A simple message with a textured shank on the palm side to also help distract with touch. Prototype 1.
