Earth Forged Elements Crafted by Rannane My creative outlet is Earth Forged Elements. All jewellery has been made in my workshop in Angaston.

The art of metalsmithing for me is a way to combine the inspirations I take from nature - flowers, insects, animals, & landscapes with design, texture & gemstones to create wearable, organic and beautiful pieces. To create my pieces I form and fabricate metals, primarily sterling silver, fine silver, copper, brass & occasionally gold and use (mostly) untreated natural, rough or faceted gemstones,

dichroic glass and natural components. I use a variety of techniques such as chasing and repoussé, casting, enamelling,texturizing, sawing, hammering, fold forming, electroforming, soldering, weaving and making chain maille to create my quality pieces that are unique and special.
