Creations and Curiosities crafted by Anita Baills. I specialise in nature themed and fantasy pieces as well as REAL butterfly, insect and snake shed jewellery (all natural components are ethically and legally sourced). My work has been featured in a number of different national magazines as well as winning various design challenges both nationally and internationally. Each item is handmade by me.

A HUGE thank you to all the lovely people that came and said hi today at . It felt a little weird not being in , but the leg room was fabulous in a booth 🤣
My brand new design stag headband found a home very quickly. I have some new colour earrings on my stall and my new product "fly free" faux taxidermy frame is with me too.
Can't wait for tomorrow, find me with - we are next to ❤️

Good News!
This time of year seems a super fitting time to celebrate that it looks like they may finally have found an answer to a lot of my unusual health over the past few years.
Excited to potentially have a light at the end of the tunnel.
Also excited that in just a few days I get to share a booth with my daughter at . You will find us next to , both of us in booths for the very first time.

I've been taking time to , breathe and take time to enjoy life rather than constantly rushing and being caught up in the busyness epidemic.
I am so excited to be attending in a few weeks and catching up with friends.
I also have a brand new event that I will be attending this year! Tickets can be purchased via the link in my bio.
I've been indulging in some creativity just for me also ❤️

Many of you are probably wondering where I have disappeared... well to be honest, although I have been having some ongoing health battles, the main reason is that I have really struggled with social media along with it's relationship with AI.
I am someone that highly values truth, transparency, wellbeing and creativity. I see artists work stolen or devalued due to AI. I now have to analyse every reel or image I see to determine if it's true. I see vast prose that people construct through AI but it's missing the genuine warmth and connection when written by a human. I work with young people and see first hand how social media can cause damage. I see the negativity spewed from trolls on the internet toward any that provide a suitable platform for their negative views.The algorithm no longer shows me my friends but is rather geared to consumerism and ads foremost.
However - I have decided to take the path back to social media, I have decided that in a world of cleverly constructed lies, I will ensure that at least in my corner of social media that I present my truth.
This gorgeous bridge I stumbled upon while attending a school camp at recently ❤️

WOW! Massively blown away by day 1 of !!!
So many amazing new customers, awesome reconnections with friends and such a lovely day.
I got to catch up with my jewellery model and her photo from back in my Toowoomba days ❤️
I love this little cheeky lamb at ... it's almost like it knows what happens to the rats at that stall 🤣🤣🤣
And how cute are new art dolls!
Ready for an epic day 2 after a late night restock!

I have a bit of FOMO not being at this weekend 😭 It's the first one I've missed in 11 years! (excluding covid)
However, I did manage to see at today when I dropped Penny off to her 😁
If you are on or near the Sunny Coast, it is on again tomorrow.

UPDATE:
Things have been VERY quiet this year in my business.
This is due to a few factors:
- firstly, I have been battling a number of health matters which has included lots of time for tests and medical appointments.
- secondly, I have been unsuccessful in seciring stall spots at and this year and have had date clashes for other events.
- thirdly, my day job has been more busy due to being short staffed most of the year.
HOWEVER - I am SUPER excited to be in attendance at in just a few weeks time!
I have missed all my amazing customers and fellow artists and can't wait to see you all again at such an amazing event ❤️

2025 is here!
And I am so grateful for the past few days spent at - celebrating my Dad's 80th!!!
2024 was pretty rough on the health front for me, so it was nice to have time to reset and get ready for the year ahead. Plus... they had bunnies 😍🐇
I'm hoping to get my website back online in the next few weeks.

I always get lots of comments and compliments when I wear my cross - so I decided I would debut them this weekend at 😁🎉
Butterflies are my favourite creature as they are symbols of new life and new beginnings ❤️🦋
And traditionally rainbows are a symbol of hope and better times.
