𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝-𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐚𝐠𝐡 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐢𝐧𝐠
Following in the footsteps of his father, our young client wanted to incorporate family heritage into a special design for his now fiancé. A claddagh ring was given at the beginning of his parent’s relationship, and it seemed only fitting to continue the tradition in his own partnership with a symbol that has created a life of love for them.

We’ve incorporated her birthstone (and favourite colour), peridot, as the heart of the ring, which is crowned with a sparkle of diamonds. The rose gold brings a soft contrast to the peridot, and the white gold allows the true colour of the gemstones to shine through.

Each element of the claddagh design has its own important meaning; representing love (heart), friendship (cradling hands), and loyalty (crown).

A position has become available for a casual retail assistant. Hours will primarily be Wednesday and Thursday 10am-4pm, every 2nd Monday 9am-1pm with one Saturday each month and occasional holiday relief work.

Duties will include customer service, answering and making phone calls to customers and suppliers, general cleaning, handling money/eftpos, taking in of customer jewellery/watches for repairs, changing watch batteries and simple repairs.

𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦 𝐒𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐢𝐧𝐠
Our lovely client had some pieces of her mother-in-law’s to turn into a unique ring design, to be both a standout piece for herself and in honour of a special woman from her life. We searched high and low for the perfect pair of dark blue sapphires to then be specially faceted by a local gem cutter.

The sculpture-like design offers something new from every angle – from the pair of sapphires facing toward each other, to the smaller gemstones in an Art Deco style cuff behind them, and even the band inside and out, offering a twisted look on the surface and a lattice finish underneath. A hollow was made under the setting to reduce the top-heaviness of the ring, and the lattice cover elevates the look.

Whilst the sapphires look quite dark, almost black, they offer deep shades of blue and even green hues when they catch the light. You should be able to see the blue wash over them in some of these pictures.
