Managed to wrestle this off-form foliage vase to a conclusion - it wasn’t quite right straight out of the mould and it took a bit to get the angles of the form working.
I have now modified the mould to get a bit closer to what I have in mind.

While the G kiln was firing I made a couple of larger boulder series vases for the back section of the woodkiln. Thrown, altered and roughed in - they should firm up while the kiln cools and be ready to finish off tomorrow.


Starting the G kiln early this morning meant  seeing the dawn colours as I walk back to the house.

The day started with enjoying the reflections in the lagoon, then moved on to finishing off a boulder series foliage vase and finished with loading tiles from the workshop with .studio at Waterview stacked on edge in the bottom of the bisque kiln
