About Elova and Erin 👩‍🎨👩‍🏭

The origins of Elova started with the dreams of a little seven-year-old Aussie girl called Erin, who weaved rings from the leaves of she-oak trees. An entrepreneur from the beginning, I would sell my woven rings on the playground marketplace for 10c each and use the proceeds to buy pikelets from the school canteen. Over the years, my skills and passions for crafting je

wellery have grown from leaf rings to creating hand-forged heirlooms using traditional goldsmithing techniques. So exceptional was were my skills and determination that I was awarded Apprentice of the Year and was a medallist at a national level in the World Skills Competition. I've even had the privilege to work on a necklace for Oprah and Gale on their Australian Down Under Tour. After completing my apprenticeship, I became a fully qualified Jeweller at Tayha Designs in Mt Lawley, where my skills continued to grow from working with such an innovative team. In 2014 I started Elova Jewellery and began working with my own clients in my workshop in Waikiki. While the industry is moving towards CAD production, it can still never compare to the strength of jewellery thats been forged, bent and rolled using traditional goldsmith technique. I am committed to producing only heirloom quality jewellery for my customers. Whether it’s repairing a sentimental family heirloom, creating a custom-designed piece of jewellery from scratch or remodelling old jewellery and giving it a new life, clients rest easy, knowing that their treasures are being crafted with skill and passion. I love taking videos and photos documenting the captivating process so my clients can see their heirlooms being created in real-time and be part of the whole production process. Now, I absolutely love knowing that I am creating these special heirlooms and creating a memorable experience for each and every one of my clients.

As a lot of you may know, our work here is solely custom orders.

These two pairs of studs will be the first two items for us to have in stock, ready to purchase 😍

They have been hand made in platinum and also have Protektor backs to ensure their security for the wearer.

These will be available in the next coming week, whether it’s to come and visit me to see as a size guide to order your very own custom pair, or if one of these are already perfect and you would like to take them home that day ❤️

I thought I would share a little more about the person behind Elova Jewellery ✨

Creativity has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a child I was always making something, whether it was music, crafts, or little handmade creations. My first “business” was actually in primary school weaving rings from sheoak leaves and selling them for 10 cents each so I could buy pikelets from the canteen 🙊

Looking back now, it feels like maybe jewellery was always going to find me in one way or another.

These days, outside of work, life is usually filled with family time and out of school activities with my two young children.

I love reading and listening to audiobooks, especially by Australian authors, and there’s a good chance you’ll find me listening to one while I’m creating in the workshop too.

I have also fallen in love with Australian native gardens and gardening. There’s something so rewarding about slowly creating a space that feels beautiful and alive.

This little clay bee house was made at a community event with over the weekend and honestly, it made me realise how much I still love creating simply for the joy of it.

Over the years I have built Elova Jewellery completely from the ground up and I feel incredibly grateful that my work now allows me to create alongside my clients, helping turn their stories, memories and milestones into pieces that become part of their legacy.

It’s meaningful work, and something I never take for granted 🤍

Some pieces hold more than just gemstones, they hold chapters of someone’s story 💙

This custom ring was handcrafted using sentimental white gold and two meaningful diamonds, now reimagined into a vibrant cluster design featuring stunning teal sapphires.

With a background as a florist, she brought such a beautiful creative eye to the design process. Together, we carefully balanced each gemstone and diamond to create an organic cluster that feels full of life, colour and meaning, almost like a little bouquet captured in jewellery form.

Seeing this piece transform from its “before” into something so personal and wearable is exactly why I love what I do ✨

This weekend feels like the perfect reminder to slow down a little, soak up time with the people we love, and appreciate the little moments that mean the most

I just wanted to wish everyone a beautiful, relaxed Mother's Day weekend. Whether you're celebrating, remembering someone special, spending time with family, or simply enjoying a quiet moment to yourself, I hope it's filled with love.

Days like this always make me reflect on how grateful I am for the incredible support behind Elova Jewellery.

This little business truly wouldn't be here without every person who has trusted me to create something meaningful for them over the years. Because of your support, I've been able to build a career I love while also being present to raise my two beautiful children, and that is something I never take for granted.

I also want to say a special thank you to my Mum, who always encouraged me growing up to follow a path that genuinely made me happy. Having someone believe in you like that is such a gift.

And to my wonderful mother in law, thank you for the endless support throughout the growth of my business and for loving our kids so deeply. They absolutely adore their time with Nana, and I'm so grateful for everything you do for our little family

This piece is one of those designs that quietly reveals itself over time…

At first glance, it’s soft and timeless.
But when you look a little closer, the details begin to unfold.

Hand engraved into the 18ct yellow gold are delicate flowers and leaves, catching the light in the most subtle way. Paired with a radiant cut diamond, and a floral underbasket that mirrors those details beneath the setting.

Every part of this ring has been shaped and finished by hand, creating something that feels considered from every angle.

It’s the kind of piece that feels just as special years from now as it does today.

I love sharing this part of the process, because this is where it all begins to come to life.

From the very first markings in the platinum, to carefully seating and carving the setting, soldering each claw into place, and finally setting the alexandrite and diamonds by hand, every step is slow, considered, and completely intentional.

There’s something really special about this stage. It’s no longer just an idea, it’s becoming something she’ll wear every single day.

And now I’m about to begin her wedding band, which will sit perfectly alongside this piece.

We begin by choosing the size that feels perfect for you , whether that is 0.50ct each for effortless everyday wear , 0.75ct for a little more presence , or 1ct each for that beautiful statement glow.

From there, I guide you through selecting natural or lab grown diamonds , the setting style , claw or bezel , and your preferred precious metal. Every detail matters.

We then choose a secure backing so you can wear them with complete confidence.

And finally , I handcraft your studs in my WA workshop , just for you.

Featuring the clients very sentimental heirloom diamonds, paired with a new Australian Sapphire to represent her partner, all placed together in a single ring to celebrate their engagement 😍

It felt incredibly special to hand craft this ring with traditional techniques, honouring the antique cut diamonds.

When we designed this ring, every stone had a special meaning and memory attached to it.

A new hand selected Australian sapphire represents her partner. Strong, steady and connected to home.

The diamonds honour her family. Each one placed intentionally in a beautiful free flowing pattern.

The design was always about reflecting that balance.

Handmade here in my WA workshop using traditional techniques, created to last for generations.

This is what I love most about custom work. It is never just about how it looks, it is about what it represents.

As I close the workshop doors for Christmas, this ring feels like the perfect way to wrap up the year.
 Handmade from a couple’s own gold, re-alloyed and reshaped with intention, care and so much meaning.

Every claw, every grain-set diamond, every moment at the bench tells their story, and I loved capturing the full behind-the-scenes of how it came to life.

Thank you for trusting me with something so deeply sentimental. Pieces like this are the reason I do what I do.

I’m now taking a short Christmas break and will be back in the workshop on the 12th. I can’t wait to start creating again in the new year.
