Elova Jewellery Bespoke engagement rings, heirloom jewellery and sentimental remodels, handcrafted in Perth

Founded in 2014 by award-winning jeweller Erin Evans, Elova Jewellery specialises in bespoke engagement rings, heirloom jewellery and sentimental remodels. Working from my Perth workshop, I create individually handcrafted pieces using traditional goldsmithing techniques, producing jewellery with exceptional strength, character and longevity. Having trained with respected jewellery houses including

Kailis Pearls and Rohan Jewellers, and receiving national recognition through the WorldSkills Competition, I am passionate about transforming meaningful stories into heirlooms that will be treasured for generations. Whether remodelling a family heirloom, creating a custom engagement ring or crafting a one-of-a-kind piece, my goal is to provide a personal experience and jewellery that is made to last a lifetime.

Why does jewellery remodelling sometimes cost more than buying a brand new piece from a jewellery store? šŸ‘©ā€šŸ

It’s a question I completely understand, but the two are actually very different processes.

When I remodel your jewellery, I’m not simply melting it down and turning it into something new.

I’m creating a custom piece specifically for you, using traditional jewellery making techniques and focusing on quality and longevity, rather than designing something around a particular retail price point.

Before I even begin making your new piece, your existing jewellery needs to be carefully pulled apart. Stones are unset, checked and measured, your gold is prepared and melted, then the new piece is made by hand in my workshop.

There are certainly quicker and cheaper ways to manufacture jewellery. CAD, casting and hollowing areas of a design can all help make jewellery more affordable to produce.

But that isn’t what I do at Elova Jewellery.

For me, remodelling is about taking jewellery that already means something to you and giving it another chapter.

You’re not just paying for the finished piece.

You’re paying for the craftsmanship, the custom design, the time involved in working with your existing materials and, most importantly, the opportunity to wear something sentimental every single day rather than leaving it tucked away in a jewellery box. ā¤ļø

When I mention our jewellery is handmade, I mean it šŸ‘©ā€šŸ

Here are just a few behind the scenes snaps from the workshop recently šŸ˜‰

We are proud to be one of the few workshops where every piece is made by hand, using traditional jewellery making techniques, from forming and soldering, through to setting and those final finishing touches.

These photos are all stills taken from each client’s own video that I make them. These are sent as a little sneak peek with their pick up appointment link, then we watch their full making video together when they collect their piece 🄹

And of course, they get a copy to keep šŸ¤

I hope you enjoy this little glimpse into the raw beauty of the jewellery craft

Time flies when you’re having fun ā¤ļø

I can’t believe these two are already coming up to celebrating their first wedding anniversary!

Making Bec and Kyle’s wedding bands was incredibly special for me. Bec has been a close friend of mine for many years, so it was such an honour to be trusted with such an important part of their wedding.

To make it even more memorable, they both joined me in the workshop and helped create their own rings.

Both bands were hand forged in platinum from the very same bar of metal, a beautiful symbol of two lives coming together.

To finish Kyle’s ring, we engraved their own custom designed monogram on the outside, creating a feature that is uniquely theirs and something they’ll always be able to see.

Looking back through these photos reminds me just how much I love what I do. It’s never just about making jewellery, it’s about being part of some of life’s biggest moments and creating pieces that will carry those memories for generations.

Happy almost first anniversary, Bec and Kyle šŸ¤

Most people only ever see the finished piece.

What they don’t see are the sketches, the planning, the hours at the bench, the careful soldering, the precise stone setting, and of course, the apprentice making sure quality standards are maintained. 🐾

These diamond stud earrings have been handcrafted in platinum right here in my WA workshop using traditional jewellery making techniques.

From raw materials to the finished piece, every step has been completed by hand to create a timeless pair of earrings designed to be worn and treasured for years to come.

And the best part? They’re now available.
If you’ve been searching for the perfect pair of diamond studs, I’d love to invite you in to see them in person and try them on.

There is nothing quite like seeing the sparkle for yourself.

Send me a message or enquire through the website to arrange a time.

Which step surprised you the most?

Coming Soon ✨

As a lot of you may know, our work here is solely custom orders.

These two pairs of studs will be the first two items for us to have in stock, ready to purchase šŸ˜

They have been hand made in platinum and also have Protektor backs to ensure their security for the wearer.

These will be available in the next coming week, whether it’s to come and visit me to see as a size guide to order your very own custom pair, or if one of these are already perfect and you would like to take them home that day ā¤ļø

Stay tuned for our creation video of them that I will also be sharing next week.

Also can you see the difference in the claws šŸ˜‰

I thought I would share a little more about the person behind Elova Jewellery ✨

Creativity has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a child I was always making something, whether it was music, crafts, or little handmade creations. My first ā€œbusinessā€ was actually in primary school weaving rings from sheoak leaves and selling them for 10 cents each so I could buy pikelets from the canteen šŸ™Š

Looking back now, it feels like maybe jewellery was always going to find me in one way or another.

These days, outside of work, life is usually filled with family time and out of school activities with my two young children.

I love reading and listening to audiobooks, especially by Australian authors, and there’s a good chance you’ll find me listening to one while I’m creating in the workshop too.

I have also fallen in love with Australian native gardens and gardening. There’s something so rewarding about slowly creating a space that feels beautiful and alive.

This little clay bee house was made at a community event with over the weekend and honestly, it made me realise how much I still love creating simply for the joy of it.

Over the years I have built Elova Jewellery completely from the ground up and I feel incredibly grateful that my work now allows me to create alongside my clients, helping turn their stories, memories and milestones into pieces that become part of their legacy.

It’s meaningful work, and something I never take for granted šŸ¤

Also, if you have any audiobook recommendations, especially Australian authors, I would absolutely love to hear them.

Some pieces hold more than just gemstones, they hold chapters of someone’s story šŸ’™

This custom ring was handcrafted using sentimental white gold and two meaningful diamonds, now reimagined into a vibrant cluster design featuring stunning teal sapphires.

With a background as a florist, she brought such a beautiful creative eye to the design process. Together, we carefully balanced each gemstone and diamond to create an organic cluster that feels full of life, colour and meaning, almost like a little bouquet captured in jewellery form.

Seeing this piece transform from its ā€œbeforeā€ into something so personal and wearable is exactly why I love what I do ✨

If you have sentimental jewellery tucked away that you’d love to breathe new life into, I’d love to chat about creating something uniquely yours.

This weekend feels like the perfect reminder to slow down a little, soak up time with the people we love, and appreciate the little moments that mean the most

I just wanted to wish everyone a beautiful, relaxed Mother's Day weekend. Whether you're celebrating, remembering someone special, spending time with family, or simply enjoying a quiet moment to yourself, I hope it's filled with love.

Days like this always make me reflect on how grateful I am for the incredible support behind Elova Jewellery.

This little business truly wouldn't be here without every person who has trusted me to create something meaningful for them over the years. Because of your support, I've been able to build a career I love while also being present to raise my two beautiful children, and that is something I never take for granted.

I also want to say a special thank you to my Mum, who always encouraged me growing up to follow a path that genuinely made me happy. Having someone believe in you like that is such a gift.

And to my wonderful mother in law, thank you for the endless support throughout the growth of my business and for loving our kids so deeply. They absolutely adore their time with Nana, and I'm so grateful for everything you do for our little family

Happy Mother's Day weekend everyone xx

This piece is one of those designs that quietly reveals itself over time…

At first glance, it’s soft and timeless.
But when you look a little closer, the details begin to unfold.

Hand engraved into the 18ct yellow gold are delicate flowers and leaves, catching the light in the most subtle way. Paired with a radiant cut diamond, and a floral underbasket that mirrors those details beneath the setting.

Every part of this ring has been shaped and finished by hand, creating something that feels considered from every angle.

It’s the kind of piece that feels just as special years from now as it does today.

If you’re drawn to something with meaning in the finer details, I’d love to create something just for you šŸ¤

I love sharing this part of the process, because this is where it all begins to come to life.

From the very first markings in the platinum, to carefully seating and carving the setting, soldering each claw into place, and finally setting the alexandrite and diamonds by hand, every step is slow, considered, and completely intentional.

There’s something really special about this stage. It’s no longer just an idea, it’s becoming something she’ll wear every single day.

And now I’m about to begin her wedding band, which will sit perfectly alongside this piece.

I’ll be sharing more as it comes together, so keep an eye out if you’d love to follow the journey šŸ¤
