Welcome to Lovell Jewellers. My name is Martin Lovell, Manufacturing Jeweller for over 30 years, and Director of Lovell Jewellers. I commenced my jewellery apprenticeship in Cairns North Queensland in 1978, starting with the firm Clausons Jewellers in Shield St. Shortly after, Graeme at Clausons commenced his own business, requesting I be transferred to him so we both were doing the trade work for

Clausons and other jewellery businesses in and around Cairns. Graeme's business grew and with that I was exposed to the experience of some gifted craftsmen. During this time I was fortunate that I was taught jewellery crafting right from the start, unlike some less fortunate apprentices who were shown just the broom! After completing my apprenticeship I chose to travel to the west of Australia, packing up my motor bike and heading to Geraldton, where I became employed at Jewelcentre. After a few years here honing my skills here I decided I wanted to begin my own business, so I travelled to Perth with my wife Grace and in 1985 started my own business doing trade work for various jewellery shops from the home we built in Rockingham. From there it progressed to a small shop upstairs in Rockingham beach Arcade, progressing to a larger shop downstairs 18 months later. From there (about 2.5 years later) we moved across the road to our current location at Sunray Village, Patterson Road in Rockingham.

Fathers are such a special part of our lives,
the ones who guide us, support us, make us laugh, teach us, protect us and love us through every stage of life.

As we get older, we realise even more just how precious the memories, the little moments and simply having Dad by our side really are.

Today is about celebrating the wonderful fathers, grandfathers and father figures who have helped shape our lives.
