What do you do with a piece of heirloom jewellery that holds a lifetime of memories but is no longer being worn?

For two sisters, the answer was jewellery remodelling.

Their mum's opal brooch held so much sentimental value, and rather than leaving it tucked away in a jewellery box, they wanted to transform it into something special they could each wear and treasure.

Through bespoke jewellery remodelling, we gave the precious opals a new life, creating individual pieces that reflected each sister while preserving their connection to Mum.

One of these beautiful transformations was a pair of bespoke opal and pink diamond earrings.

Because the jewellery may change, but the memories live on.

A mother's ring. A son's new chapter.

Some jewellery carries a story that's too meaningful to leave sitting in a jewellery box.

Our client wanted to reimagine her treasured opal ring into something her son could wear and enjoy.

But during the remodelling process, we encountered an unexpected challenge. The opal cracked as it was being removed from its original setting.

Rather than lose the stone that held so much meaning, our jewellers carefully reunited the opal and incorporated it into the new design, concealing the crack.

With subtle design changes and a more comfortable fit, the result is a ring that feels like his, while still carrying a beautiful connection to his mum.

Because sometimes the most meaningful transformations aren't the biggest ones.

They're the ones that preserve what matters.

✨ Shelley Cowper
An artist for 25 years and Visual Arts lecturer at North Metropolitan TAFE, Shelley draws on her sailing adventures through remote Australia. Her prints and mixed-media works weave together landscape, personal experience and emotion.

For this piece, we took our client's treasured heirloom diamonds and gave them a new chapter -creating a beautiful diamonds-by-the-yard necklace designed to be worn and enjoyed.

The diamonds haven't lost their history.
They've simply found a new way to tell it.

One became two… and now we're adding number three.

Over the years, a wedding stack can grow alongside your story - and for this client, it was time to add another chapter.

Once all three bands were exactly where she wanted them, we soldered them together to create one beautifully aligned piece.

It's a practical little change that can help reduce movement between the rings while keeping the stack sitting just as it should.

And we rather love the idea of three individual rings becoming one.

Some holiday memories deserve more than a photograph. ❤

This beautiful ruby ring was bought while travelling - a little keepsake from a special time and place, and one of those pieces that can instantly take you back to a moment.

Years later, our client wanted to continue its story.

Using her treasured ring as inspiration, we created a bespoke pair of ruby earrings to match - a new piece, connected to an already special memory.

Because sometimes the best jewellery isn't just about what you're wearing.

It's about where it takes you.

Can you see what's holding these diamonds in place?

That's exactly the point.

Invisible setting is designed to create an almost seamless surface of diamonds, with no visible claws between the stones.

Beautiful? Absolutely.
Simple to repair? Not quite.

It takes precision, experience and a very careful hand to restore an invisible setting while maintaining the look that makes it so special.

For this piece, our job wasn't to change its story -it was simply to make sure it could continue being worn and treasured.
