A very Happy Father's Day to all the amazing Dads I know.

We dont do Father's Day in our home. My Dad lost a battle with Dementia and several other Chronic diseases nearly 14 years ago and hubby to a Cancer that totally destroyed his life, and our lives. Its challenging to explain how much I loathe Cancer. The grief journey has no timeline and seeing it affect my kiddos differently as they mature and realise so much is very confronting. As a result, I only choose to live with joy, try never to complain and smile always. No doubt, Chris walks with us everyday.

Enjoy your Sunday, whatever you are doing.

Father's day is the silver lining for me that is...Christmas is coming.

Nothing is quite as life changing as a Cancer diagnosis. Not just the person with the diagnosis. I lost my husband and am a Widow because of Cancer. My children lost their brilliant Dad to Cancer. A brilliant man lost his life too soon to Cancer.

Depending on where you live, Spring is definitely in the air. The not so frosty early mornings, the colour of the wild flowers...the butterflies floating around and baby birds suddenly spotted too!

It is a time for change and for new beginnings. Someone very recently said to me to be hopeful of new beginnings, more specifically...second firsts, after catastrophic loss. So, it would be fair to say, for multiple reasons that I am looking forward to a new season 💞

All of that being said. I thought it was a good time to celebrate one of my most popular fragrances...

Happy Wednesday!

I am taking a little bit of a break with my kiddos to celebrate what would have been this wonderful man next to me in these pics 50th Birthday.

When hubby was diagnosed with advanced high risk multiple myeloma, he was 44 and we realised very quickly it was going to kill him and we discussed the things he would miss. This significant birthday is one of those things. Then in our last conversation before he died, I promised him we would celebrate it for him. That's exactly what we are doing ❤️

How's your Monday morning?

Its school holidays in my household so my kiddos will rise later as I get set for work. I juggle candle making plus three jobs and being mum (my favourite part)

We also have dogs that all think they are people. Especially this one. Coco is my nearly 11yo Chocolate Labrador. She is currently sound asleep with her head on a pillow next to me. Our other two dogs are curled up on my feet. I also have a duck somewhere waiting outside for breakfast 😂

Coco currently smells like Champagne and Strawberries after a collision with a room spray bottle.

On that note, our products are all animal and kid friendly 😊
