When we talk about preserving history and heirloom pieces, we aren’t kidding around.

Today’s special project involved resizing her grandfathers Coin of Augustus ring - a coin dating from 27BC to AD 14.

Lovingly preserved and bezel set into a ring, she now gets to wear not only a precious piece from her grandfather, but a true piece of history. From an ancient coin to a wearable heirloom ring, it’s incredibly special being part of its next chapter.

We love getting into designer mode and letting the creative ideas flow.
Starting with a loose gemstone and transforming it into a one of a kind ring is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. Every detail is thoughtfully considered- creating not just a beautiful piece, but something with meaning, personality and a story she can wear forever. Starting with a rough sketch, we will next refine the designs with CAD drawings.

Ring Revival!

My nanna’s ring just got a stunning facelift! After replacing the cracked aquamarine with a gorgeous Zambian emerald, retipping the worn down claws to safely secure the two diamonds, resizing, and giving her a full clean and polish, she now shines brighter than ever.

It feels so special to restore something with such sentimental value—my nanna would be proud. Now this beautiful piece can be worn, cherished, and loved in its next chapter. 💚

This weeks remodelling inspiration

What started out as 3 inherited rings in need of moderning became a beautiful collaborative remodelling journey.

Together, we worked through the design process to honour the sentimental value of the original rings while creating something more modern and reflective of her style today. She especially loved the cluster ring design, so we carefully repurposed the existing diamonds into the new design.

To create a true hero piece, we sourced a stunning 1ct Natural Pearl Diamond as the center stone. With the remaining Australian Sapphire, we designed a pendant featuring a soft puffy bale and tiger claws - ensuring every gemstone continued its story.

To achieve the perfect spread and proportion across her finger, we first created a wax model of the ring before moving into production.

A meaningful transformation of treasured family heirlooms into timeless pieces she can wear and love every day.
