Natural unheated, untreated Tasmanian Sapphires and natural Diamonds set in 9k yellow Gold. The ring is a heavier make -7mm wide, which is domed and tapered.

The spoils from the trip!
Plenty of black spinel, which looks great faceted... mostly small Zircon, a number of warty opaque Sapphires.. and...
These beauties😊.
They range in size from about 1ct up to 4.5cts. Should cut some nice stones.😁

Custom make for a client.
For this job, my client wanted a light / white coloured stone with minimal flash. I suggested that moonstone might fit the bill. It can have light flashes of blue, sometimes green, but can also produce rolling pearlescent tones too.
A pear shape was decided upon, so I cut 4 stones with different colours, sizes and proportions to be selected from. In the end it was a fat pear in the full white with rolling play that was chosen - a really nice stone!
Next was the design... my client wanted 2 rings, one as a bezel set ring and a second band fitted behind. I used Gold from some of her old jewellery and added a bit to complete the makes. They came up pretty nice!

Custom make for a client!
This engagement ring is championed by the amazing QLD parti sapphire, which was used as its centrepiece. It is big, bright, and super clean, a true marvel of mother nature. The stone was hand mined and cut with no enhancements or treatments and flanked by 9 diamonds either side, along the band. On the inside of the band is a flush set Tasmanian blue Sapphire to represent the baby boy they have.

Tasmanian Sapphire cluster ring set in 9k yellow Gold.
The stones are all natural (unheated, untreated). With a bicolour pear shape at the front, and 3 round sapphires (3.2mm) - yellow, royal blue and green sitting behind.
