As we are in the era of customization and personalization, CAD/CAM is essential for our businesses.
Hand crafting is a beautiful skill & talent which allows for artistic licence and the ability to re-use precious metals.
CAD CAM offers other benefits. Creating CADs allows clients to be able to visualise designs before they are brought to life and give designers such as myself the ability to be very particular when creating intricate & detailed jewellery pieces.
CAD/CAM offers the ability to design jewellery with multiple settings, and often many stones with different shapes and sizes or with multiple precise matching – calibrated settings.
Old fashioned or heirloom pieces can also be easily recreated using CAD/CAM – saving on labour costs & again ensuring an accurate remake of the original piece.
Also, there is an option to easily reproduce an item with an existing CAD/CAM. The potential to replicate multiple pieces cost effectively allows us the opportunity to grow and scale our businesses.
