Okay here’s a bit more context- and important things to know when you work with me.
1. I will design for longevity, and I will take into account the type of person you are, the way that you wear your jewellery now and in the future, and I will not agree to design a piece that is unsuitable for you.
I will also not gold plate, I will not cut corners to fit budgets if it’s not in your best interest- and will ultimately compromise your piece.
2. Sometimes from the get go- aeither one of us might realise that we’re not a great fit creatively(or even just on the same page as humans- and that’s okay)
It doesn’t happen a lot but sometimes it does, and I will never waste your time if I feel that we’re heading that way.
I will gladly direct you to someone who I think would be better suited, or give you options before going ahead with something that I know my heart won’t be in.
3.
All of my clients get the attention that all of my clients deserve. Always.
As I grew busier, I’ll endeavour to always have the time to hear you out, discuss your ideas, learn bits about you so that I can make the piece for you- as you as it can be.
4. A little bit of the same from number 3, but it still constantly amazes me- how easily connections form between two people coming together to make something special. I often learn about families, dreams and experiences- your favourite colours, favourite gems, little snippets of your life that get woven in.
5. This one should be self-explanatory but, it’s easy in this crazy busy world to just take on as much as possible in the hopes of getting ahead.
I’ve always been so driven to do my best in any job that I’ve ever had- and now even more so working for myself. If something isn’t right, it’s an automatic redo. Or even a rework- it’s gotta be so good, and so shiny, and so ready for you when it leaves me. And I love the feeling that gives . 💍
