Hi, I’m Sue — maker of chainmaille jewellery and this is my current workspace (reasonably tidy at the moment).
I first discovered chainmaille at a medieval fair and instantly fell in love with the beautiful woven patterns. Once I started learning myself, I realised it was more than just jewellery-making — the repetitive process of linking rings together became surprisingly therapeutic.
Every piece is handmade, one ring at a time, no shortcuts, no machines, just patience. I love turning something so simple into something beautiful and wearable.
I’m seeing a lot of very fine, delicate jewellery around lately and wondering whether you prefer subtle jewellery or bold statement pieces?
