This 1965 Rolex Gilt dial submariner automatic watch is a rare model to find with such incredible patina.
The serial number and the case back number 5512 suggests that it was towards the transition period of the 5512 to 5513 models. The Rolex Gilt dials were the first production of the Submariner and sports models made by Rolex. The Gilt dial and hands are untouched. The crystal or plexi glass current fitted is a "Top hat" crystal glass ref.T25-39 and the original glass ref.B25-195 will be given upon purchasing this Rolex. The Rolex oyster bracelet currently fitted is bracelet ref.93150 which is unworn.
