Throughout July, Madi & Mae will be supporting the Jordan Deir Fundraiser by donating 50% of sales from the Entwined Jewellery Collection.

In January 2021, Jordan's parents received the devastating news that their beautiful 8 year old son has Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). DIPG is the most aggressive form of childhood cancer and usually occurs in children aged between 4-11 years of age. Sadly at this stage, there is no cure for DIPG.

As any parent would, the Deir's have searched the world looking for treatment to prolong their son's life, if not save him and they have come across a treatment in Houston, Texas that costs $500,000. There is no price that can be put on a child's life therefore we would like to assist the Deir's to attempt to achieve their goal of obtaining this treatment for Jordan or at a minimum enable them to consider accessing this treatment if they receive approval from Jordan's medical team.

If by chance, Jordan is not able to make the 25 hour flight to Houston, the money raised will support the Deir's to pay their bill's and pay for Jordan's care and medical expenses. Since Jordan's diagnosis, his parents have not returned to work as they want, and need to spend as much time as they possibly can with Jordan given that the average life expectancy from diagnosis is around 9-12 months.
