Last night, Brilliant Diamonds had the pleasure of attending the Melbourne Fashion Week Closing Runway at the beautiful 1 Hotel Melbourne.

An incredible evening celebrating Australian designers, bold creations, beautiful craftsmanship and the talent behind it all.

From statement pieces to the smallest details, it was a wonderful reminder that fashion and fine jewellery share something special: the art of expressing your individuality.

Loved seeing the creativity, elegance and inspiration on the runway. It was extra special to see wedding dresses on the runway.

Sometimes, the stone you fall in love with is one you already own. ❤️

This beautiful ruby belonged to our client’s pendant. We carefully removed it and designed an entirely new ring around it, giving her a fresh way to wear and enjoy a stone she already loved.

Together, we chose an Art Deco-inspired design with vintage detailing. The ruby’s rich red colour takes centre stage, framed by a sparkling halo, decorative shoulders and fine beaded edging known as milgrain. The warm 18k yellow gold brings it all together beautifully.

The same treasured ruby, reimagined into something she can fall in love with all over again.
