This week's most common recycling mistake? Soft plastics in the yellow-lid bin.

Items like plastic bags, bread bags, chip packets and bubble wrap can cause big problems in the recycling process and don't belong in your recycling bin.

If you can't take them to a soft plastics drop-off location, place them in your general waste bin instead.

Greasy pizza boxes CAN go in your yellow-lid bin.

Just remember:
✅ Empty the box of food scraps
✅ Don't bag it, just bin it loose

A little grease won't ruin the recycling process, but leftover food can.

Before you recycle glass jars, give them a clean break:

✅ Remove the lid
✅ Place the jar and lid loose in your yellow-lid bin

It only takes a second, but it helps both materials get sorted correctly at the recycling facility.

25 years we've waited, and last night the Knights got it done! 22-14 over the Panthers, and the whole Hunter is still buzzing. Bazza and Hunter haven't stopped celebrating since the siren. 🏉

Bring on the Roosters this Sunday. Up the Knights! 🙌
