Compared with other items, the gold plated or silver plated jewelry, which is made by covering a base metal a very thin layer of gold/silver, is more reactive. So it is necessary to protect the gold/silver plated jewelry beads from damage. You could refer to the following tips to take care of your jewelry beads:
Firstly, please be sure to keep silver plated/gold plated items from water, soaps, creams and perfumes. Salty air and sweat can damage the finish of some beads and metals. Take off your jewelry before washing or having a bath. Secondly, keep it away from hard surfaces, even a light scratch will cause the layer to wear away fast. Thirdly, clean it gently with soft cloth or the appointed jewelry cleaner, this could help to eliminate any dirt or dust which will wear away the layer on the jewelry surface. If your jewelry is not being worn, store it in a dry place or wrap with soft material. Treat your jewellery with care, charm bracelets may snag on some clothes. I know it might sound pretty, but, don't shake your charm bracelet, your beads may crack. Fashion jewellery is NOT designed for 24/7 use. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS. No refund or repair for this type of abuse. I will not replace anything that has not been sent back after a week. However, I will repair items that break with normal usage, up to two months from sale date. All my jewellery is made with materials sourced from the internet & my local bead shop and is checked before selling. If you feel your item is not what you paid for, I am prepared to offer you a full refund, minus postage costs. Please contact me ASAP to arrange it's return. You have seven days to contact me about it's return. The item must arrive in the original packaging. Your refund will be issued on it's arrival and once I have checked it. Please be mindful that some of my items are "one ofs" and may be hard to replace, in this case I will refund your money if I can't replace it.
