Some days, your outfit needs to do a bit of everything.

Maybe you’re heading out for coffee, meeting a friend, then going somewhere a little nicer later. You don’t need a completely different outfit for each plan.

Choosing versatile pieces that can be dressed up or down makes it much easier. Change your shoes, add a jacket, swap your accessories, and you can give the same outfit a completely different feel.

The colours you wear can make this even easier. When you know the colours that suit you best, you can build a wardrobe where more of your clothes work together.

What’s your go-to piece when you need an outfit to work for more than one occasion?

Getting dressed for a social occasion doesn’t have to mean choosing between looking good and feeling comfortable.

The best outfits are often the ones you can move around in, feel like yourself in, and not have to think about once you leave the house. When you feel comfortable in what you’re wearing, you can relax, enjoy the conversation and focus on having a good time.

A colour analysis is a great place to start if you’ve ever found yourself buying clothes you love in the shop, only to wonder why they don’t feel quite right when you wear them.

Instead of wondering what works every time you open your wardrobe, you’ll have a better idea of which shades complement you and make you feel confident.

When you do a little review regularly, it’s much easier to keep clutter from building up and stay connected to what you actually wear and need.

Instead of waiting until your wardrobe feels completely out of control, take a few minutes to check in:
What am I wearing regularly?
What no longer fits my lifestyle?
What pieces am I holding onto but never reaching for?

Small, regular edits can make getting dressed easier, shopping more intentional, and your wardrobe feel much more like you.

When was the last time you gave your wardrobe a little refresh?

Thank you so much for the glowing recommendation!

I'm so pleased to hear that you see your colour consultation as a true investment in yourself. That’s exactly what I hope my clients take away from the experience, more confidence, clarity and a better understanding of what works for them.

If you’ve been thinking about having your colours analysed, why not make the investment in yourself and discover what your colours can do for you, too?

Why can clearing out your wardrobe feel surprisingly emotional?
Because clothes are rarely just clothes.

That dress might remind you of a special occasion. That jacket might belong to a time in your life when you felt confident and carefree. Sometimes we hold onto pieces because they remind us of who we were or who we hoped we would become.

So when it’s time for a wardrobe edit, letting go can feel harder than expected.

But your wardrobe should support who you are now, not keep you stuck in the past.

A wardrobe edit isn’t about throwing everything away. It’s about looking at what you have with fresh eyes, keeping the pieces that work for you, and creating space for the next chapter.

Sometimes, letting go of a few things can feel like a little reset.
You might be surprised by how much lighter and more confident, you feel afterwards.

If your wardrobe feels like it needs a fresh start, a professional wardrobe edit can help you work through it without the overwhelm.

What’s holding you back from getting your colours analysed?

Maybe it’s the cost?

I completely understand that a Colour Consultation can feel like an investment. But when you know which colours work for you, it can actually save you time and money in the long run.

You’ll shop with more confidence, make better choices when buying clothes, makeup and accessories, and avoid those purchases that end up sitting in your wardrobe because they just don’t feel right.

Because your colours work together, you can create more outfits from fewer pieces, less wardrobe clutter and far more options.

You don’t necessarily have to pay for your consultation all at once.
You can split your payment into 4 instalments with PayPal Pay in 4, similar to Afterpay.

I can also offer a lay-by-style instalment option for those who would prefer to spread the cost.

Do you have a favourite piece in your wardrobe that you absolutely love wearing?

Sometimes getting dressed can feel harder than it needs to be.

Here’s a simple place to start: choose one piece you already feel great in.

It could be a dress that makes you feel confident, a jacket you always reach for, a beautiful pair of trousers, or even a colour you know makes you glow.

Once you’ve chosen your favourite piece, build around it.

Look at the colours that complement it.
Add a simple layer.
Choose shoes and accessories that support the look.

You don’t need to make the outfit complicated, sometimes the simplest combinations are the ones that feel the most effortless.

There’s something else I love about this approach: you’re starting with confidence.

Instead of putting on something you’re unsure about and trying to convince yourself it works, you’re beginning with a piece you already know you love. From there, every decision becomes a little easier.

Your wardrobe doesn’t need to be bigger.
You just need to know how to make what you already have work beautifully for you.

💬 Now I’d love to know: What’s the one piece in your wardrobe you can always count on to make you feel amazing?

Tell me in the comments, I’d love to hear what your favourite is! 👇

What you wear can make a difference, not because you need to “dress to impress,” but because when you feel good in what you’re wearing, you naturally carry yourself differently.

If you want to feel more confident in meetings, try starting with structure and colour.

A structured blazer, a well-fitted jacket, tailored trousers, or a defined neckline can instantly give your outfit a more polished feel.

Then think about colour. Choose shades that complement your natural colouring and lift your complexion rather than overpowering you. When the colours you wear make you look fresh and vibrant, you can feel more confident before you’ve even said a word.

The goal isn’t to look overly formal or like someone you’re not.

If you’re not sure which colours make you look and feel your best, that’s exactly where a colour consultation can help.

Book your colour consultation with me and let’s discover the colours that make you look and feel your best.

“Something doesn’t quite look right,” even though you can’t put your finger on what it is?

It could be the smallest detail.

Maybe the sleeves are just a little too long, the neckline isn’t quite working with your features, or the fabric has a texture that doesn’t feel right on you.

These little things might seem insignificant, but they can completely change how an outfit looks and, more importantly, how you feel wearing it.

You don’t need to add more to your outfit to make it better. Sometimes, you just need to make a small adjustment.

Try rolling your sleeves, changing the neckline, choosing a different fabric, or adding an accessory in a colour that brings everything together.

This is where style gets interesting.
It’s not always about having more clothes, it’s about understanding the details that make your clothes work for you.

Have you ever made one small change to an outfit and suddenly thought, “Yes! That’s better”?

Tell me what it was I’d love to hear!

I absolutely love it when clients celebrate their colours!

Lynsey is already putting what she learned into practice!

When I analyse your colours, I don’t just give you a palette and send you on your way. I also show you how to proportionally wear your colours so you know which shades to use as your main colours and which work beautifully as supporting colours.

The photo below shows Lynsey wearing her 100% WOW colours, but look at that yellow!

While yellow isn’t one of her very top colours, it makes a fabulous jumper, T-shirt or blouse colour as Lynsey is demonstrating perfectly. It works beautifully when balanced with her stronger colours.

This is exactly why understanding your colours is so useful. It’s not about saying “I can never wear that colour.” It’s about learning how to wear it in a way that works for you.

Love seeing you put your colour knowledge into action, Lynsey!
