It has definitely been an interesting start to 2022!

When I started Ipswich Makers Box I wanted to highlight all talented makers and small businesses in Ipswich and that is still my ultimate goal.

As with starting any new business you learn so much and realise there were things you could have done differently in order to ensure the success of the business.

I have learned a lot and I have a list of things I wish I had done differently, especially with the first box. I have also come to the realisation that it does require a significant amount of time invested, something that I unfortunately do lack.

So this leaves me in a position that I am not sure where to go from here. I still believe that IMB is a great idea and has potential to be a very successful business. I don’t know if I try to get someone to take over, if I sell off all the stock cheap and call it a day, or if I have a sale try to sell what I have and reset.

Open to advice! My goal was and always will be to highlight Ipswich Makers! Where do you think I go from here? 🤍

Today we spent a lovely afternoon fundraising for breast cancer and Ipswich Hospice Care - Queensland at the annual Afternoon Tea With Friends.!
