They say when you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life. That’s true — until life makes you forget the 'why.' If that’s you too, take a moment this weekend to reconnect with your passion.

Tonight, this stunning 1985 Day-Date 18038 with a striking royal blue computer dial did just that for me. A reminder of why I love vintage watches. Fresh from an RSC service, complete with an NFC card and a two-year warranty.

Message if you want to buy it before it comes to market.

here’s something deeply compelling about one-owner watches that have survived untouched. This 1970 Rolex Submariner 5512 is one of those rare pieces — not overly polished, not molested, just quietly wearing its age with pride.

It features a feet-first dial and, interestingly, may be among the last to use zinc sulfide lume before Rolex transitioned fully to tritium. That lume has developed a beautiful warm texture with real depth, perfectly complemented by the original Tropic 19 acrylic crystal — still doing its job 55 years later by magnifying all that character.

When this eventually comes to market, I’ll likely fit a TrueDome 19 to improve waterproofing while preserving the vintage charm. But until then, I’m enjoying it exactly how it is — a true survivor, with every mark telling part of its story.

There’s gold — and then there’s solid gold.

This Omega Constellation f300Hz is something special: full 18K gold case and bracelet, powered by one of the coolest movements Omega ever made — the tuning fork electronic.

Back in the 1970s, when the Swiss watch world was panicking over quartz, Omega went a different way. They developed a movement that hummed at 300Hz, delivering a sweep smoother than almost anything mechanical, while keeping the soul of a traditional watch alive.

This one has that unmistakable soft "buzz" when you hold it to your ear. It’s alive. It’s different. And it’s wrapped in enough gold to feel serious on the wrist.

Chronometer-certified. Vintage cool. And a reminder that sometimes the best ideas come when you don’t follow the crowd.

Sometimes it's hard to know what will be a future classic, other times - not so much. This gorgeous 2002 16710 comes as a full set - and combines the best features of the older 5 digit models, like a holes case and aluminium bezel, along with solid end links and super luminova.

Available soon.
