I found this dried plant several years ago and have kept it ever since.

I was drawn to its sharp lines and strange, sculptural form. Natural forms like this often find their way into my jewellery. Not copied literally, but reinterpreted in metal.

Seeing it next to the Vero Earrings makes the connection especially clear.

Concrete is often seen as cold or severe. To me, it has a quietness to it.

Minimal, functional and strong, it gives its surroundings space to speak. Here, the circular windows soften the weight of the structure, mirroring the sky, water and movement around them.
