Jen's Jumbled Jems

Jen's Jumbled Jems Jen's Jumbled Jem's sells unique, handmade🙌 jewellery and hair pieces/fascinators–made with new and upcycled items. And PLEASE share if you like! Thank you.

This is more a labour of love❤️ and possibly insane compulsion, rather than for profit. Please check albums for prices/descriptions. 💚💚 As a person living with a disablity which prevents me from working full time, I have discovered a love of creating. Beads and jewellery and wire and feathers seem to have become my medium, and it's become something of an infatuation, not quite and obsession, yet!

:P As there seems to be nowhere else to write any extra stuff about the actual sale process, please note that pick up is available, or post, so please PM the code of the piece/s you're interested in (the J letter/number and brief description along with your postcode for a postage quote.

Finally, an accident that worked out! Experimenting with flames. I’ll have to seal it before it can be put up for sale but, otherwise, I’m quite happy with this effect. And I did it without a proper bracelet mandrill. First of many with this vibe I think. I’m getting into the tribal/rustic copper vibe lately.

This was me practising my weaving (I’ve been wrapping for a couple of years but I’ve done very little weaving, as I’m not terribly good of it). For some reason I decided to try to turn it into a ring and now I quite like the result. I used old electrical wire scraps that I’ve been given and weaved it with silver copper wire, then I popped in a moonstone and rhodalite garnet (I actually found this garnet in an Op Shop), but it didn’t look finished so I popped in those tiny chips of tsavorite garnet. That’s the green stuff. I tried using some glue to help hold it in but it just went crap so I removed it and it’s all just held in with the wires. I think it’ll hold together and I actually quite like it now. Not sure about my fingers, but I like the ring. It’s different it’s unusual. The wire gauge is about 18 or 16 I think so it was a little bit tricky to work with. I’ve given the whole thing a rough brushed finish.

Nearly stuffed this one up, but I think I saved it. Rose quartz crescent, pale lavender blue CZ, and glass beads in square silver copper wire.
