Time for a quick update on my current work situation.

We have been adding people to an ongoing list to contact when spaces open up for appointments for most of 2026. We are slowly working our way through these clients and have made the decision to stop taking on anymore for the rest of the year.

If we have already been in contact with you, if you are currently on the list, if you are already locked into an appointment nothing changes so don’t worry.

However we feel it is time to stop taking in new work for the rest of this year so we can concentrate on the commitments we already have made.

Here's hoping you all had a great Christmas/New Year, Carolyn and I have been away and are back onboard this week.

This year see's some changes to the way we are going to work which I will try to outline here as simply as possible so please read on to understand what we are doing.

I am scaling back the amount of work I take, I am going to be working much more on a part time basis which means less work gets done and less appointments are possible in any given week.

Right now I still have a few jobs to be completed that carried over from last year, they are absolutely first priority. We have a huge list from clients already to call and schedule appointments, again they take priority so at this stage any new contacts going forward will not get appointments potentially until May/June.

Carolyn will be going through the current list and calling everyone in order of contact to work through an appointment that suits, you will be called if you are waiting so please be patient as we prefer not to book to far in advance. Unfortunately it also means if your time frame doesn't allow months before you get to see me I completely understand if you look to go elsewhere.

Another year rolls around and Carolyn and I would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a wonderful and peaceful New Year.

Your continued support over not just this year but those long past is always so gratefully appreciated.

Your patience is needed now more than ever as we continue to juggle our appointments to be both fair to you and us as the demand shows no sign of slowing.

We have got a huge list of clients to call in 2026 and Carolyn will start making those appointments once we return to work in mid February. If you are on that list we will get to you but it may take a while unfortunately.

So from my family to yours once again Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

UPDATE TIME.
Again after a very short period of appointments being open, I am unable to take on any new enquiries until the New Year. For those that are waiting for a call back from Carolyn don't worry, we will get to you with a call in the next few weeks with an appointment opening for you.

Again those that have made contact with us already we will get to you, please be patient.

To be completely transparent I have started to work less over the last few years and need your patience now more than ever, anything you want me to do will need planning ahead.

Just a quick update for everyone, please note due to the volume of work I have been commissioned to do I have to stop taking on any new work from now until the second half of this year.

Those that have work already discussed and those with current appointments booked that does not change anything for you, this is related to any new contact from today onwards.

Your support continues to be amazing and I hate doing this but it is the only way I can stay on top of the demand.

I will post in the second half of the year when appointments are open again.

Annnnnd it’s that time again already, Carolyn and I would like to thank all you wonderful people for your continued support and more importantly patience with ‘me’ this year. We genuinely hope if you have had any dealings with us this year you were more than satisfied and we didn’t disappoint.

We continue to have far more demand than I can handle and 2025 looks to be already continuing in the same vein as the last couple of years so patience is going to be a big thing again.

We would like to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and safe and prosperous New Year in 2025.

Well it's come to that time again as happens every year, as of today we will not be taking on any new work until January 2025, includes booking any new appointments to discuss new work as well unfortunately.

Anyone with appointments/work already booked in need not worry this only applies to new contact from today on.

Wow....when you start a career I don't think many people ever think about where you will be in 40 years, I certainly didn't.

To think back through those years and remember all the people that have trusted you with the some of the most important times and memories in their lives is somewhat humbling..

Yeah it may be just 'making jewellery' but to most I've met it means the world, to be the one that's entrusted with those special decisions is an honour.

Thank you all for that faith and trust, I hope over the journey I've made you things that remain in your hearts and families for ever.
I have been incredibly fortunate to meet so many wonderful people in this career of mine and I count myself very lucky.

It's probably becoming obvious that I am winding down a bit with my level of work but there's still a few years left in these old hands, so if you continue to be patient with me as you have been in recent years we may still have some magic to make..

Thank you all for the wonderful support, and to my absolute gem of a wife Carolyn who continues to be a huge part of our business, her unwavering trust in me and her fabulous organisation behind the scenes is as important as my part.

A quick update, Artisans of Australia have recently expanded and moved premises and today I rejoin them as my new studio is ready for me.

Everything stays the same re phone number, email etc just a different physical address, for those coming from out of Geelong it will be a tiny bit closer for you, we are now located at...
1471-1479 Portarlington Rd, Curlewis.

All those of you with current appointments to see me this is the new address you will need to come to.

Carolyn will send messages to all with detailed instructions just prior to the appointment so you will find us easily.

Hoping you all had a wonderful Christmas and New year, Carolyn and I certainly did and we are back onboard today after a nice break refreshing and gearing up for the new year.

Appointments are open again so feel free to contact us if you need any work done, please keep in mind we already have a long list of commitments carried over from last year so again planning and patience is key.

If you have anything required for a specific date I would suggest you contact us months in advance.
