Somewhere between building, pivoting and surviving, I lost myself.

I built so many dreams, but they kept shifting. Somewhere in the chaos of trying to hold it all together, I lost the girl who started it all the one who just wanted to feel free, chase the sun, dance to Shakira, and build a life that felt like hers.

I kept pushing, even when it stopped feeling like me. Until one day, I realised busy isn’t always better. I’d built a life that felt empty. So I walked away. No plan. Just trust.

And somewhere between the salt, the sun and the stillness I finding her again. The spark. The silliness. The softness. The girl who glows from the inside out.

If you’ve ever felt like you’ve drifted too far from who you are, this is your reminder it’s never too late to start again. To dance again. To come home to yourself.

I opened the doors to Studio Jo with nothing but a big dream and a small key. No team, no roadmap—just a deep belief that there was room for something slower, more intentional, and full of heart.

Over 3.5 years, we’ve grown more than I ever imagined:
– We stocked and supported dozens of small, local designers—many of them launching with us for the very first time
– We helped brands get into other stores, grow new audiences, and build the kind of confidence that changes everything
– We became a space where people didn’t just shop—they lingered, talked, felt, connected
– We solved style problems, gift dilemmas, and ‘just need something to lift me’ moments
– We launched our own jewellery label—and watched it grow into something my younger self would never believe

This tiny store has held more than product. It’s held stories. Struggles. Laughter. Healing. So much love.

To everyone who’s ever popped in, shared a story, asked for advice, or left with something special—thank you.
