Platinum and diamond sunburst tiara accentuated by the use of alternating bands of brilliant- and rose-cut diamonds
The central element was once set with a jonquil-coloured (yellow) diamond which was later replaced by a large star sapphire.
Several versions of this jewel were made, by different Parisian jewellers; when Princes Irina Youssoupova was on honeymoon in Paris in 1914, she ordered one from Chaumet.

A lovely modern looking gathered pouch style with a gusset at the bottom edge this has a beautiful faux tortoiseshell clasp which was made in Italy.

A beautiful example of 1970s design that's timeless, modern and very relevant today.

Hallmarks
It's hallmarked with Italy and Patent 28845 on the inside of the clasp.
This means it's rare, unique and not replicated.

Navy grosgrain Lining.

Condition
Excellent condition with very few scratches or marks on the leather or tortoiseshell clasp.
