I couldn't resist the opportunity to head out to a cattle farm today and try to rescue a lost wedding ring amongst the cattle and the straw.
The ring was lost whilst breaking up a bale of straw for feed so there was the risk that the ring had been eaten up with the straw. The plan was to check the ground first and then on to the bellies.
After emptying the feed troughs and spreading the straw around, I grabbed the detector and got to work. About 20 minutes or so in, I got that sweet tone from the machine, kicked the straw around and there it was.
Not quite a needle in a haystack, but close.
So happy that I could help out on this one, thanks Pat.
