I'm Andria and my other half is Mark and together we make up BijouterieOz. We work in mixed metal (silver, copper, brass and pewter) and make jewellery out of both sheet and wire, mixing the metals to add colour and dimension. We're both creative and artistic and have discovered after many different and varied artistic pursuits that we love making mixed metal jewellery. Mark is currently
working on his pewter fe**sh - I wish him luck because it's a really difficult metal to work with if you're not casting it. My first love is wire work but I'm seriously enjoying metal working and find that I'm coming up with more and more designs that incorporate both. Most of my designs still have the delicacy of wirework but are deceptively sturdy like metal work! We believe in using recycled materials wherever we can and try to stay chemical-free. All of our silver and pewter products are from 100% recycled materials and much of our copper is reclaimed too. Currently, the bulk of our packaging is also from recycled materials.
