Similar, but not exactly the same. That’s one of the things I love most about making jewellery by hand.

Restock at Artocracy ✨
Pretty happy to have been able to drop off a new mix of gemstone rings, earrings, bangles and necklaces, today. The cabinet is now full of lots one-of-a-kind treasures.

This year, my word is Freedom. 🔑 🦢 💕
For me, that means a few things, one of which is finding my way back to the part of myself that simply loves to create. No rules, no expectations, just allowing ideas to take shape as they come.
This one-of-a-kind ring was carved intuitively from wax, then cast in sterling silver and set with a faceted amethyst and blue topaz. Like all of the pieces in my Enchanted Collection, it was inspired by nature and evolved as I carved. 🍃
I’m still not back to the bench, but today I was pretty excited to set two small stones in an earring I’d made before my accident. If all goes to plan, I’ll set the matching earring tomorrow, so they can be included in a restock heading to later this week.
I’m almost halfway through recovery and it feels good to be taking small steps forward. 🙌

Love. Hope. Faith. ❤️⚓️ ✝️
The combination of a heart, cross and anchor has been linked for centuries as symbols of love, faith and hope. A reminder to keep believing through uncertain times… to stay anchored, hold onto hope, and know that you are loved.
This cluster necklace has been handcrafted in sterling silver and set with a small citrine, sapphire and topaz. Citrine for warmth and courage, sapphire for truth and strength, and topaz for hope and clearer skies ahead.
I’ve always loved jewellery that carries meaning. This was the last piece I finished up before my accident, so I’m happy to be able to finally share it.
I already have ideas for more variations of this design because I love the symbolism behind it so much. Different gemstones, different textures… what else would you like to see? 🤔
I’ll be dropping this one off at Artocracy in Brunswick very soon.
I’m improving more each day and hoping to get back to my bench properly soon. My mind is overflowing with so many new ideas I can’t wait to make.💕

Swans symbolise transformation and moving forward with grace. Two swans together represent love. 🦢
It’s been a while since I made my first cygnet signet, so it was so nice to revisit this design. This ring has been set with a yellow sapphire to represent the sun above the two swans. A red garnet has been set on the side of the band.

I’ve already had a couple of requests for this design from people who’ve seen it , so I’ll be making more over the next couple of weeks.

The past couple of weeks I’ve been busy working on new stock. Not a collection, just making pieces as they come.

Intuitively choosing gemstone combinations and going with what feels right.

I’ve been revisiting some of my favourite themes… love, hope, faith… and exploring ideas around strength and freedom.

Some of these pieces might grow into new collections, but for now I’m just enjoying making pieces straight from the heart. ❤️

A bit of a refresh…
I’ve been taking some time to experiment, try a few new ideas and just play for a bit. A slow start to the year but I’m finally feeling back in the swing of things. Lots of new designs starting to come together.
