Collective Reading for Today
Returning to Our Roots
Dearest Beloveds
Before we can become who we are destined to be, we must first remember where we have come from.
This is not a return to the past. It is a return to what is eternal. A return to Mother Earth, to our ancestors, and to the infinite wisdom that has always lived quietly beneath the noise of the world.
With deep reverence, I honour the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, the Traditional Custodians of this ancient land. Their relationship with Country has endured through tens of thousands of years of listening, ceremony and belonging. As a medicine woman, I do not speak from Indigenous experience. I offer my deepest respect for the wisdom that has echoed across this land and has invited me to listen more deeply. Alongside them stand my own ancestors, whose love, resilience and memory continue to guide my path. Together they remind me that wisdom is never something we own. It is received with humility, lived with integrity, and carried forward with love.
Today we are invited to return to our roots.
Mother Earth calls us to slow down. She asks us to kneel before life with humble hearts and open hands. Only then can we walk forward with grace. She reminds us that what we choose to honour today becomes the legacy we leave for tomorrow.
For many, this path will ask for courage.
Some of us have become the lineage breakers. We carry grief we cannot always name. We feel the growing pains of old stories that did not begin with us. At times, the journey can feel lonely. Yet every time we choose love where fear once lived, compassion where judgment once stood, and presence instead of resistance, something ancient begins to heal.
Healing is never ours alone.
It moves quietly through the branches of our family tree, offering peace to those who came before us and hope to those who will follow. This is the sacred work of remembrance.
If this season has stretched you beyond what feels familiar, trust that it is preparing you rather than diminishing you.
A profound transformation is unfolding. The blessings arriving now are preparing us for what is to come. They ask us to remain grounded while the world changes around us. They ask us to trust the quiet wisdom of the heart more than the noise of the mind.
Do not become consumed by the destination.
Honour the journey.
Return to your breath.
Trust your intuition.
Let your heart become your compass.
Walk gently.
Listen deeply.
Remember who you are.
With love,
Rosa & Shekinah3
