Oval diamonds are the diamonds that look bigger than they are.

A round brilliant sits square on the finger. An oval stretches. For the same carat weight, an oval reads roughly ten percent larger face up, and it lengthens the finger it sits on. It's why the oval has become the most-requested shape after the classic round brilliant.

The Kendall is our take on it. A GIA certified natural or IGI-graded lab-grown oval centre, held in four white gold prongs on a rose gold band. Sixteen round brilliants running down the shoulders. We use white gold prongs on rose gold because rose gold prongs would tint the diamond at its tips. The stone should look like itself. The band should look like you.

The Lutèce is a princess cut. Princess cuts hide a real secret on value. A princess retains up to 80% of the rough diamond during cutting. A round brilliant retains around 40%. Same rough stone, twice the finished carat weight. Which is why you get more diamond for the same money in a princess.

Not by physics. By perception. Your eye reads the total diameter of the diamond area, the centre stone plus the ring of small diamonds around it, as one big stone. That's it. That's the trick.

Most princess cut rings sit the stone square to the band. The Nash turns it 45 degrees so it reads as a diamond rather than a square, and wraps the edges in a rub-over bezel. The corners of a princess cut are its most fragile point, and here they're the part that's fully protected.

The band runs into the setting with a row of channel set diamonds along each shoulder, sunk flush so there's nothing to catch. It's a design that survives real life better than most, which matters on a ring that isn't coming off.

We make it in 14ct and 18ct white, yellow and rose gold, and in 950 platinum. The bezel and the setting stay white on every band colour, so your centre stone always sits in a white frame.

The Liliana is where the hidden halo began for us. Our master jeweller drew it long before the style had a name, and it still reads as the cleanest version of the idea.
