There's always a gap.
Between the thing you imagined and the thing you made.
Every single time.
And for a long time I thought that gap meant I wasn't good enough. That other artists didn't have it. That somehow I'd missed the class where they handed out the confidence to just make the thing without the internal argument first.
Turns out that gap isn't a flaw in the process.
It is the process.
The artists I admire most aren't the ones who never doubt. They're the ones who make anyway.
So here I am. Making anyway.
