Since sharing Commonwealth Bank’s letter about its decision to close the Sandgate branch, I’ve been inundated with messages from locals and businesses about how much you rely on this branch.
So many of you have asked me to start a petition to try and stop this closure.
Today, I’ve joined with our local councillor, Cr Jared Cassidy, to start a petition calling on CommBank to reverse its decision.

CommBank reported around $11 billion in cash profit last financial year.
