With the challenges of covid and lockdowns Sassart jewellers offers virtual appointment where you can chat to the jeweller and discuss the design. Using the latest technologies of computer-aided design (CAD) a 3D rendered picture can now be offered, as well as a wax version that can be sent to customers giving the ability to view the pieces at home. What does a happy 30th look like? To me it’s this. Taking an inherited gem, keeping it in its original setting and teaming it up with a diamond that’s worthy of what an incredible 30 years it’s been. With an initial n the side that also helps the chain passing through sit the pendant at different angles, so this piece never has to sit the one way. This is what accomplishment look like!

Sometimes even the most secure settings wear out over time. This channel set ring needed some tlc. Starting by removing and deep cleaning all the diamonds, sourcing a new replacement for the lost one. Cleaning and melting the gold with new as metal get lost from wear and the remaking process. Remaking the ring, resetting the stone and adding the middle grove around the ring.As good as new and ready for another 30 plus years!
