I've been thinking about the full moment, not just what you receive, but how it arrives.

Something new is coming. And it's going to make gifting feel the way it should.

Tell me what's the most memorable way you've ever received a gift?

I started making jewellery 26 years ago. Since then, it has become my most reliable way to reconnect with myself when the world feels loud. It’s a grounded, tactile meditation.
I’m considering a way to share that feeling with you.

I am thinking of including a minimalist DIY kit with select orders, providing the exact components and tools needed for you to assemble your own unique piece alongside your purchase.

My goal isn't just to give you a finished piece of jewellery, but to give you the experience of creating one.

I’d value your honest feedback on this.
Is a moment of hands-on creation something you would value?

Or do you prefer the finished piece to be the beginning and end of the experience?

Ever wondered how Morse code actually works?

It’s just two signals: short and long.
The short ones are “dots” and the long ones are “dashes”.

In this video you can hear how it sounds (little beeps vs longer ones) and see how that same pattern looks written out.

Each letter is just a different combination of those two. That’s it.

The architecture of a life.

It is built not from grand statements, but from considered textures: the rough grain of a worn book, the raw light of a Melbourne laneway, and the intimacy of a shared, private secret. It is found in the decisions we make when no one is watching.

For those pieces that are truly worn, not displayed. Subtle companions that quietly collect the morning sun on a collarbone or catching a light on the wrist. They are the small, enduring anchors we choose to carry with us.

For moments worth returning to.

This is what the letter M looks like in Morse code, set in natural moonstone on a sterling silver bar.

M is dash dash. Two longer stones, side by side.

Tag someone whose name starts with M. ↓

Every letter in the alphabet is available. Each one looks completely different because every Morse code sequence is different.

Some people show love with words. Others need a little help.

🤍This necklace says everything you can't.

Each letter of the alphabet, crafted in Morse code along a sterling silver bar, set with moonstones. Round stones are dots. Rectangle stones are dashes.

Only the person wearing it knows what it says.

A name. A city. A word you've never been able to say out loud.

The most thoughtful gift you'll give this year, and it looks like beautiful jewellery to everyone else.

"Her face upon opening the gift was priceless. She absolutely loved it and could not thank me enough."
Julie, who ordered the Morse code necklace for her sister's 60th birthday.

That's the moment I make jewellery for.

Not the purchase. Not the packaging. The moment someone understands that the person who gave them this gift really thought about them.

Our Morse code necklaces are sterling silver bar pendants set with natural moonstone. Each letter of the alphabet has its own unique sequence of dots and dashes in Morse code, and that sequence becomes the necklace itself. A dot is a small round stone. A dash is a longer stone. Placed along the bar, they spell her initial in a pattern only she can read.

Every letter has a different number of dots and dashes, so every necklace looks different. The letter S is three dots in a row. The letter J is one dot and three dashes. No two letters are the same bar.

The core metal is sterling silver, not brass or stainless steel. The stones are natural moonstone. Available in 18k gold vermeil or sterling silver. All 26 letters, A to Z.

This is what a considered gift looks like. Not the most expensive thing in the room. Not the flashiest. Just something that says, quietly, clearly, I chose this because it's you.

If you've been searching for a meaningful birthday gift for a woman, a unique gift for a milestone birthday, or simply something that will outlast every candle and bunch of flowers you've ever given, this is it.

Designed by Carolina Ruiz in Melbourne, Australia. Sterling silver and natural moonstone. Ethically made. Built to be kept.

I’m not someone who usually shares personal problems or family drama on here. I like to keep this space colourful, creative, and light.

But this… this is part of our story.

One year ago, my husband gave our 13-year-old son a kidney.
It was the hardest season of our lives, full of fear, strength, faith, and so much love.

I’m sharing this today not for sympathy, and not for attention, but to honour their bravery, to say thank you again to everyone who held us up, and to celebrate LIFE.

If this past year has taught me anything, it’s that behind every smile you see online, there’s a story you might never know.

Today, we celebrate health.
We celebrate courage.
We celebrate family. 🤍

Today I was working on a custom brooch order and I couldn’t stop thinking about something…
The price of gold and silver has been rising so fast lately. And as a small jewellery brand, you really feel that.
I don’t want to stop creating my Morse code jewellery. They’re deeply personal to me. They hold stories, memories, love, quiet messages only the wearer understands. That part isn’t going anywhere.
But if I want to keep growing my collection and continue creating meaningful jewellery without passing extreme solid gold prices onto you, I need to be smart about materials.
That might mean introducing alternative metals that:
– Perform beautifully
– Resist tarnish
– Feel high quality
– And make meaningful jewellery more accessible
Because for me, it’s never just about gold. It’s about what the piece represents.
So I’d genuinely love to know, when you’re buying jewellery that isn’t solid gold, what matters most to you?
Is it:
• Durability?
• Water resistance?
• Longevity?
• Hypoallergenic materials?
• Price point?
• Or the meaning behind it?

Your answers will genuinely help me shape my future collections 🤍

Every month carries a story.
But February… why is this one special to you?

Maybe it’s your birthday.
Maybe it’s the month you got engaged.
Maybe it’s when you chose yourself, started over, or felt something shift.

February’s birthstone, amethyst, has always symbolised clarity, protection, and inner strength, but for me, it’s never been about dates on a calendar.
It’s about moments.
Feelings.
Memories you don’t want to forget.

Birthstone jewellery doesn’t have to be worn just once a year.
It can mark a milestone, celebrate a quiet win, or hold meaning only you understand.

This piece is for your February.
Whatever that month means to you đź’ś
