Today i had another fantastic silver smithing class with Billie ( a lovely birthday present from Ben ) Billie made a gorgeous hammered wide band ring with a lovely little Chrysocolla stone set on top. Lately I’ve been out walking with my doggie and I’m in love with the amazing Gum Trees in my local park. They are massive and old and the birds absolutely love them too. They drop the most amazing leaves and bark and I found some I wanted to trace around and turn into Gum leaf necklaces and earrings. I have made these completely from scratch I melted the silver and ( got my wonderful hubby Simmo ) to roll out the sheet then I hand cut the leaves out and made the fine silver bezel wire to wrap the stunning Aussie Boulder opals in and to top it off I hand engraved the little veins in the leaves myself. I’m so happy with this collection those trees bring magic to my world and I wanted to share that with you . These are all in store now and if you have any questions you can message me ♥️
