This piece was a very special and new challenge for me.
Riley was born during the covid pandemic and her mum was unable to have a professional cast her precious first born. So she tried herself with a home casting kit! The foot turned out okay but needed a tidy up, but the hand was missing a few fingertips. So years later, I replicated the old casts and put my sculpting skills to the test to finish of the replicas.
I’m so glad she now has something to hang on the wall and treasure forever!
