Ive been a glass artist my whole life and I love everything glass, most of all glass jewellery. I love that I can make something to suit every outfit and I love how happy it makes people to have something special that they can wear, that is hand made, is beautiful and that was made especially for them. Recently I have turned to social media to gain exposure and find more customers and I have chose
n, rather than pay for advertising that instead I would give my jewellery to the people who support me and who love and appreciate it. So a huge thank-you from me to all my customers and future customers who help me to gain exposure and continue to do what I love. I will be posting pics of new work and giving jewellery away every week so please follow my page and share to all your friends. I do not buy little glass discs off ebay and paint them with nail polish and glitter. All the glass I use is made using a variety of skills including flame working and fusing in kilns. Different temperatures are used to achieve different colours and effects, and you could say that every design has its own recipe!! After all these years of experimenting I have hundreds of recipes and my little book of firing schedules and colour combinations is like a little glass cook book that I add to all the time. I am well educated in the use of friendly metals and enduring adhesives and you can rest assured that I have tested all the metals I use on my own sensitive ears. You can wear my earrings night and day, swim in them, shower, get your hair done and sleep in them. Often I am asked why are my earrings so well priced, and I am often told that I sell them too cheaply, but I want you to know that the price does not in any way represent a lack of quality but rather a desire to share a lifetime of learning to create beautiful things from glass and I thrive on the giving that this inspires, I love to see people buy a set for themselves and a set to give away, and I love that everyone can afford to buy them. It doesn't matter if you have a million dollars or a hundred, its just a number but the thrill of colour is the same for us all. When I make something in a particular colour thats unusual or not fashionable, I never look at it and say oh well someone will buy it, I always set out with a plan, with an outfit in mind or a colour combination and I kind of make it with a particular person in mind, I might cart it around for a year but when the person it was made for comes along and the attraction is instant, I really feel like I did make it for them. If theres something you would like and I don't have it, please feel free to chat with me and Ill see what I can create for you,
thank-you for taking the time to read this, warmest regards, Sam
