Following other people in your niche can be a great things and bring a sense of community and sometimes great joy. But it can also crush your creativity and motivation. A balance of following those who push and inspire you is a great thing.

The intention or energy we put into an interaction or product will change how it is received. I’ve heard time and time again especially in massage but also just in life. People saying thing like “it just felt rushed and unfinished” “there was no care taken” “it was just thrown together”. I want people to leave me feeling better than they arrived, in massage and with my jewellery. So the intention I put into my work is important. Slowly and thoughtful planed and executed. No rushing intentionally made for you.

Small business owner, sole trader, entrepreneur, hustler, dreamer, rebel. What ever title you give it. Being my own boss was the best decision I’ve ever made. Was it easy? Absolutely f@(&ing not. Was it worth every sleepless night? Every hard time? Every declined transaction? Every early morning or late night?
Without a doubt.
I’d do it all again in a heartbeat to be exactly where I am and where we are going.

Unlearning self doubt, it’s a huge thing that a lot of people struggle with. Some might call it imposter syndrome, some might call it low self worth. Some may have it ingrained from a young age that what you’ve made or who you are isn’t enough. It’s something I’ve struggled with for as long as I can remember.
But I won’t let it rule me anymore. I am enough and I make pretty awesome stuff.

Focusing on the positive. Things that have made me grow in 2025 which are just going to continue into 2026.
Bring on all the things that 2026 has in store for the business and for our life.

Help. I can’t decide what to do next. Would you like to see something new. Or would you like to see something old. A remake of a popular design? Something new and challenging.

It’s not something I did intentionally. But it’s happened slowly over the past year. Week after week I just didn’t book in for the massage I definitely need.
And I know I’m not alone. As business owners we often put our selves last and prioritise all other things.

My self imposed work uniform is black on black. But I love to add a pop of colour with my earrings. They make me happy and also create conversations. Adding a pop of colour or perfectly matching it’s all about dopamine at the end of the day.
