Today I received this beautiful testimonial, it made me teary.

Claire was going through a big refresh this year, and she assembled what she dubbed her “A team”. There was new copy written, new website and a whole lot of ideas!

When working with someone, it’s not always about listening to the words they say. It was about seeing what their body language is telling me. Then seeing the passion and motivation return when we build something that truely aligns.

I said to Claire, and I will say it loud so those at the back can hear. Sometimes to need to slow down to speed up.

I can’t wait to see all Claire has cooking come out into the world this year!

A little peek into how my days are structured.

Mornings start with mum mode. Getting the girls ready, school bags packed, and the school run done. By the time I get home around 9, I like to do a quick house reset and tidy the kitchen. If the weather is nice, I’ll head out for a walk as well. It helps my brain wake up properly before work.

At 9:30 I head into the office and this is where the magic happens. My brain loves a good hyperfocus window, so I use that time for deep work with my clients. Designing, planning, building things, solving problems.

That focused block runs until about 12:30.
Then I leave the office. Laptop closed. I make sure I eat something, move my body, and give my brain a proper break. Sometimes that looks like a bit of reading, sometimes a trashy TV episode, sometimes just pottering around with an audiobook in my ear.

Around 2:15 I head to school and do my little park and plan before pick up, then we’re off to kindy and the afternoon begins.

This rhythm has been working really well for my ADHD brain over the past year. Protecting my best brain hours means I can do really focused work for my clients without burning myself out.

It is also why my availability is limited. I only allow a certain number of client hours so that I can keep working this way and keep my energy steady.

Turns out working with your brain instead of fighting it makes a big difference.

Can we talk about sunk cost for a minute?

A client of mine had invested in a yearly software subscription. And because she’d paid for the year, she felt like she had to make it work.
Even though it didn’t suit her brain.
Even though it was clunky.
Even though she already knew it wasn’t her long-term solution.

She was pouring time and energy into forcing it to fit, knowing she would likely rebuild everything in a year anyway.

That’s the sunk cost principle in action. We hold onto something purely because we’ve already paid for it.
But the money is already spent. The real cost becomes your time, your motivation, and your mental load.

Sometimes the most strategic decision is letting go.
Just because you paid for it does not mean you have to suffer through it.

Choose the option that supports your brain, your energy, and your future momentum.

Have you ever stayed with something longer than you should have because you’d already paid for it?

To the ones who recommend me, mention me in conversations, or drop my name into a group chat when someone’s looking for support...

Thank you.

I don’t always find it easy to sell myself. So when someone reaches out and says “you were recommended to me,” it honestly means so much.

Your trust, support, and kind words behind the scenes make a bigger difference than you know.

I see you. I appreciate you. And I’m so glad you’re in my corner.

There’s a lot of business advice out there about “not selling your time.”

But here’s the truth. I do sell my time - just not in the way they mean.
I offer packaged hours, usually in blocks of 10.
Not because I can’t price outcomes, but because every project and every person I work with is different.

Working this way means I can:
✔️ Track my actual availability
✔️ Use my best brain hours for deep work
✔️ Avoid over-delivering and undercharging
✔️ Avoid overpromising and under delivering when something takes longer than I expected
✔️ Set clear boundaries around what’s included

And my clients love it too.
They know what they’re getting. They know how much time they have. And they get to use it in a way that works for them.

It might not follow the “rules,” but it works.
And that’s enough for me.

This week, I wrote the best to-do list.
Not because I ticked off every item.
But because I got more done with that list than I ever would have trying to keep it all in my head.
With my ADHD brain, having that visual structure helped me focus.

The dopamine from each tick kept me going.
And by the end of the week, even with a few things left unticked, I felt like I’d made real progress.

This is your gentle reminder:
Your to-do list doesn’t have to be perfect to be helpful.
It doesn’t have to be finished to be a win.

Client Spotlight: Emma – Thrive Therapeutic Play + Family Support

Working with Emma has been an absolute joy.
She’s one of those people whose passion is so genuine, it lights up everything around her.

We redesigned her client resources, built foundational systems for her upcoming program, and started pulling together the threads of a bigger vision - one that’s going to have a serious impact in the social work space.

Watching her excitement grow as we ticked things off was honestly such a privilege. That spark had been waiting, and once we got moving, it came back full force.

And in true Emma style, she also gave me a loving push to raise my prices - because she saw the value in the work we were doing together.

Excited for what’s ahead for her - and so excited to work again with her in 2026!

I’m officially booked for the rest of 2025.
It still feels surreal to say that, but it also means one thing…
If you’ve been thinking about working with me, it’s time to start planning for 2026.

Because I only take on a small number of clients at a time, spots go quickly and I love giving my full attention to the work we’re doing together.

Whether it’s a fast-paced Hyperfocus or a deeper Sustainable Progression, I work with intention, clarity, and realistic capacity.

So what’s next?

✔️ Join the wait list
✔️ Be the first to know about my 2026 availability
✔️ Lock in a date that works for you

This isn’t a sales push. It’s just the truth, my time books out, and I don’t want you to miss the window if you’ve been waiting for the right moment.
Let’s plan ahead together.

Today is mine, and I’ve scheduled my week so I don’t have to open my laptop, check emails, or tick anything off a list.

Whether I head out for lunch or curl up on the couch catching up on The Summer I Turned Pretty with my favourite snacks - this day is mine to decide.

If you’ve never given yourself the gift of a day off on your birthday, I highly recommend it.

P.S. This post is 100% scheduled because I’m not working today. Not even a little bit.
