Who can tell me what this gemstone is? It’s always around this colour, a yellow green. It’s nice and bright and stunning for a totally natural gemstone. It’s the birthstone of August and is commonly used birthstone by people who like Green. It’s becoming more rare in the high-quality rich colours. It’s Peridot, found in Myanmar (Burma), China and Pakistan.
It’s said to ward off negative energy and was once believed to protect against nightmares. Besides that, it stunningly beautiful.

Is this a Garnet or a Ruby?
